NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A police-involved shooting in Brooklyn overnight sent three people to the hospital.
Police were still on the scene at Bridge and Nassau streets in Downtown Brooklyn Saturday morning after a man allegedly pulled a gun on two officers.
Investigators said around 1 a.m. officers were notified of a man with a gun outside Club Mariachi.
Upon the officers’ arrival, the man allegedly pulled a weapon from his waistband.
The officers fired four shots, one of them striking the 34-year-old suspect in the lower torso, CBS2’s Ilana Gold reported.

The suspect was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, 1010 WINS’ Roger Stern reported.
The two officers were taken to New York Methodist Hospital, where they were treated for ringing in their ears and are expected to be OK.
